PENM offers equity capital and strategic partnership to Vietnamese growth companies.

BankInvest established PENM I in 2006 with a capital of USD 90 million. PENM I was fully invested in 2008 with eight investments in Vietnam and two investments in Egypt.

BankInvest established PENM II in 2008 with a capital of USD 150 million. PENM II has sole focus on Vietnam.

What Is Venture Capital
 

Venture capital is risk prone capital. An investor who provides venture capital to a business idea therefore aims to get a significantly higher return on his investments than in ordinary investment portfolios.

The typical venture capital investor will only invest in projects, which over a period of 5-8 years will give the investor at least a 25 % return on his investment per year.
